
Fairfax Community stands ready to provide ongoing one-on-one care to individuals, within and outside the congregation, who are experiencing a wide range of life transitions, both joyful and difficult.
Child Dedication Coordinators communicate with families who want to participate in the dedication, and pass along their information to the Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor one week before the dedication. Dedications are offered during the weekend services twice each year.
Baptisms are a great way to celebrate people’s lives in Jesus. Coordinators assist those are who are looking forward to making this step of faith. The Baptism Coordinator provides information and helps ensure an orderly event. Who the position supports: Pastor of Operations & Events
Be a part of the team that helps our church celebrate baptisms! This team will assist with pre-baptism preparations and help people during the baptism services. We’ll work together before the baptism weekends to prepare the baptism clothing kits for people that make a decision that weekend and make sure all of the details are ready. The Celebration Team will assist those getting baptized during the service and ensure.
The Laundry Team supports other ministries by washing table cloths, baptism towels/shorts and other linens throughout the year. Team members will pick up laundry from the church, take them home to wash and bring back to the church in a timely manner.
The Community Care givers are responsible for building a sense of community in the church through reaching out to minister to the special needs of church members. This person will show the love of Christ in action. Phone and visit sick, hospitalized, or home bound members.

The Looking Toward Marriage Group is designed to prepare and equip couples who are considering getting married. Table Hosts are married couples who have been married for 5 or more years and are willing to share their experiences with other engaged couples.
Having a committed team that prays for our guests and members as needed shows that we place a high value on prayer. Come alongside and encourage others by being available to pray with others after the worship services.
Having a committed team that regularly prays for our guest and members prayer requests shows that we place a high value on prayer. Members of this team receive weekly email prayer requests generated from our Welcome Cards and emergency requests. Team members commit to praying for these requests daily.
