The Journey
Come with us on The Journey through the Old Testament. Within these books lie the answers to life’s most often asked questions, including: Where is God in our time of suffering? What is God’s will? How can I be a better parent or spouse or friend? Where is meaning in life ultimately found?
Everyone has asked these questions at some time or another, but not everyone knows how the Bible specifically answers each one of these questions. Our prayer is that you would join us on The Journey and discover what the Lord has to say to these questions and others. The answers may surprise you!
Each day you will receive an email that will provide you with a chapter to read, some commentary written by our team of Journey writers and some questions to reflect on during the day. How do I get the most out of The Journey? To get the most out of The Journey, you are encouraged to…record what you discover from each day’s reading in a journal. There you can reflect on what you have discovered about God and yourself.
How can I get the Journey? There are three ways to follow the Journey. Click on the ‘Sign Up’ tab on the homepage of our website. By signing up, you will receive the daily devotionals via e-mail. If you’re on Facebook, you can get the Journey at FCCJourney. Or the Journey can be accessed on Twitter @FCC_Journey.
Do I need to sign up again if I participated in the prior year? No. If you already receive The Journey you will continue to do so.
What if I don’t attend Fairfax Community Church? You don’t have to attend the church to receive The Journey. We would love for you to sign up and take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about God through the study of His Word. You will not receive anything else from us other than the daily email.
