Defy Ventures Supply Drive

Join us in supporting our new partner, Defy Ventures, and help 100 men with criminal histories as they become student entrepreneurs! Defy Ventures provides carefully selected, ambitious men with life-changing entrepreneurship, leadership, and career opportunities. This innovative program provides a way for these men to get back on their feet and make a positive impact on society by starting their own businesses.

Fairfax.cc has the opportunity to provide supplies for the men as they begin this program in October. Our goal is to have 100 of each of these items (listed below) so each student entrepreneur can have the necessary supplies. Student Ministries will be organizing and packing these supplies on September 9 during their Fall Kickoff. Please return supplies to the church lobby by September 2.

Each entrepreneur in the program will receive:

• 1 package black pens
• 1 package sharpened pencils
• 1″ binder (white, red, blue or black)
• 1 package college width loose leaf paper
• 2 folders (inside pockets)
• 1-2 pairs of men’s black dress socks
• 1 business/professional tie
• 1 black vinyl portfolio–professional style (letter size with pad of paper and pocket)
• 1 Subway restaurant gift card ($15)
