It’s time to put together “purpose built” teams to serve our partners in many parts of the world. Where have you dreamed of going? What professional skills, gifts, and abilities do you possess that could benefit our friends and partners in Christ? Are you disheartened by the numerous daily reports of injustice and travesty in our world? The time has come to step up and play your role in being salt and light in God’s kingdom. The Outreach team wants to partner with you in showing God’s heart to the nations.
Are you ready to close your eyes, inhale a deep a breath, step forward and say, “Here I am, send me?” To begin a conversation about the possibility of serving overseas, send an email to our Pastor of Global Enagement, Alan MacDonald at alanmacdonald@fairfax.cc. Let’s begin a dialogue and see the Spirit begin to flow! We can’t wait to hear from you! And be sure to read the IWitness accounts from past impact trips.

Haiti: Summer School Team
We are looking for teachers and those who love playing with children to serve TeacHaiti’s School of Hope in Port au Prince, Haiti. The vision is to send two teachers and two helpers to spend a week doing a Summer Science program. The children at School of Hope (grade level K through 5th) are exposed to wonderful education and art programs, but have very little access to equipment that would enrich their lives in the field of science, math, and architecture (i.e. learning to build a bridge out of popsicle sticks). So if you are a teacher with experience working with grades K-5 and interested in this or if you are someone who would love to help the teachers and work play with the kids, consider this opportunity!
