Our strategy is to expand the number of partners we are serving and form Local Impact Teams around each of these partners to serve them on an ongoing basis.
Local Impact Team Volunteer Opportunities
Local Impact Team Leaders
The Local Impact Team Leader mobilizes teams to serve with one of our local partners.Team leaders assist church staff with recruiting, training and mobilizing church members to connect and serve in an ongoing capacity. Team leaders will liaison with church staff and their chosen local partner to organize service opportunities for their team and commit to serving alongside of their team.
Who the position reports to: Local Engagement staff.
Time required: Regular communication with team members, church staff, and their local partner; occasional training and strategy meetings; and ongoing service.
Term of commitment: 1 year.
Qualifications: Team leaders should have good communication and organizational skills; the ability to inspire and equip team members; the willingness to take ownership of the team’s commitment to serve your local partner; passion for serving our community.
Training provided: Approximately 2-4 training sessions per year led by Local Engagement staff, in addition to occasional one-on-one meetings with Local Engagement staff and local partner leadership.

Local Impact Team Members
Local Impact Team members will serve together with partner organizations in an ongoing capacity to support their mission.Team members will have the opportunity to serve alongside each other on a regular basis by completing the agreed upon projects, events and/or agreed upon tasks. Anyone interested in serving in an ongoing capacity with this team, can serve one time with the team to determine if this ministry is a fit for you and your skills.
Location of Service: The partnering organization’s facility.
Who the position reports to: Team Leader.
Time required: Opportunities to serve will vary from weekly to monthly but some organizations/positions may require more time.
Term of commitment: Each partner will have different requirements for length of commitment.
Qualifications: Committed to serving on a regular basis on a team; passion for serving our community.
Training provided: On-the-job training from the partnering organization; occasional team meetings led by your team leader. There may be additional requirements depending on the partner (background checks, spiritual maturity, etc).
