Why Small Groups?

Small groups are at the core of our student ministry. We are convinced that small groups is where life change happens and is the necessary path of our students to becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Our Values for our small groups are:

• Deep Friendships: Small groups are the place where surface relationships can deepen and people you know become people you care about.
• Accountability: In small groups adult leaders can hold students accountable in their walk with Christ and students can encourage each other.
• Biblical Study: We value reading from and talking about scripture with a group of peers who are seeking to understand God’s word.

Small groups is where our students can fully engage to meet the goals of getting to know God and honor Him with their lives. We want them to CONNECT, UNITE, and CHANGE [the world] and small groups is a key to this life change taking place.

Our small groups follow worship on Sunday evenings.

• Jr. High (grades 7-8) students meet 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Sr. High (grades 9-12) students meet 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

2011-2012 Dates Small Groups will NOT meet:

• Nov 27
• Dec 25
• January 1
• April 8
• May 13
• May 27
• June 10 – Last Day of Small Groups
• June 24 – Start combined weekly summer service (No Small Groups).
