There are always books that stir your heart from the minute you pick them up. For me, Life Together was one of the first books I read as a believer. A short but profound read, it speaks to the need for integration of our faith in our everyday lives individually and communally. Written by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a young pastor who was eventually killed in a Nazi concentration camp, this short but profound read is just as relevant for today.
We hope you will join us for a live church-wide virtual event on Monday, April 20 from 7:00-8:30p for “Bonhoeffer-A Discussion on Civic Responsibility”. We will be joined by Laura Fabrycky, an American guide at the Bonhoeffer-Haus in Berlin and author of the book, Keys to Bonhoeffer’s Haus. (UPDATE: You can watch the recording HERE.)
The building may be closed but we are not as a church. There are many things to engage in during the week to uplift and guide you during this time in addition to your neighborhood group. Please scan the list below so you don’t miss anything we are doing.
I am so very glad that you continue to gather and encourage each other. I’m grateful for our leaders who continue to guide our hearts and minds during this season.
Please let them know how grateful you are for them this week.
