Day 13: Courage
Scripture:
“Be strong. Take courage. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t give them a second thought because God, your God, is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, hear our prayers. Father, give us the courage to listen to those who are hurting and for our hearts to not be hardened. Father, help us to speak your truth with courage & conviction. Holy Spirit, fill us with courage and strength to act on those things you ask us to do. Father, provide us with courage to face the storms that are coming, to stand strong with the aid of your right hand during those that are here and see with your eyes what we are to see as they pass. In Jesus’s name we praise you and we ask for courage, Amen.
Reflection:
How will Jesus show up in my day today?
Do I have the eyes and ears to see and hear the wonders of his love and mercy?
How will I experience his grace? Will I see something miraculous? Something hope-filled that will transform me?
