Day 33: Grace

Scripture:
But by the grace of God, I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them – yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
1 Corinthians 15:10 NIV

Grace is a glorious commodity of Heaven that can only be received and experienced in surrender to the will and love of our Heavenly Father. In utter completeness, our God is able to offer us grace because He needs nothing from us in return.

Prayer:
Lord, thank you for your abundant and abounding grace. Thank you that we don’t have to earn a drop of the mighty river of grace that flows freely for us today. Lord, we know that we are imperfect people living in imperfect times, but we need your grace in a mighty way. Help us to put ourselves in the path of your love and grace and protect us against the things that pull us away from you.
Holy Spirit, I pray that you will fill us with a fresh revelation of how deeply you love us regardless of what we do. Lead us into a lifestyle of living by grace in every pursuit, relationship, thought and perspective in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Reflection:
How will Jesus show up in my day today?
Do I have the eyes and ears to see and hear the wonders of his love and mercy?
How will I experience his grace? Will I see something miraculous? Something hope-filled that will transform me?
