Day 34: Diligence
Scripture:
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
Hebrews 6:10-12
Prayer:
Dear Lord, give me the strength and perseverance to be diligent and faithful in the work you’ve put before me. May your light shine through my actions, words, and spirit. May I not take on more than I can successfully complete. When it comes to my faith and desire to know you better, may I never waiver. By your grace, Amen.
Reflection:
How will Jesus show up in my day today?
Do I have the eyes and ears to see and hear the wonders of his love and mercy?
How will I experience his grace? Will I see something miraculous? Something hope-filled that will transform me?
