FINISH STRONG

FINISH STRONG

Year-end giving is always a critical component of our missional success. This year, our year-end giving goal is $1.2 million.

We are praying for God’s provision – that we can finish the year strong and prepare boldly for the life that awaits us in 2025. Each year, we’re given the chance to pursue a new work with the Lord. As Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 8, when each of us gives “according to our means,” God will honor those gifts and allow us to “finish the work” to which we have been called.

Reaching our goal will require everyone in the church to get involved. It will take small gifts and large gifts. Every gift matters. No gift is too small. No gift is insignificant. When your gift is combined with the gifts of others, God can provide in ways beyond our imagination.

WHY IT MATTERS

WE CAN MEET OUR 2024 BUDGET

Our 2024 budget was prayerful put together to allow us to meet our ministry goals for this past year. We have seen God work in so many amazing ways this year, including having the most baptisms in the history of our church. We have operated within the constraints of our 2024 budget but will need to finish strong in order to meet the budget and assure that every ministry was fully resourced.

WE CAN END THE YEAR IN THE BLACK

We believe that making sure that expenses do not exceed income is important financial stewardship. It is an indicator of financial health and a reflection of our desire to steward well the resources God has entrusted to us. If we reach our $1.2 million goal, we will end the year in the black, fulfill our loan covenant, and be positioned to resource the vision God is calling us to in 2025.

WE CAN SAVE UP TO $600,000 IN INTEREST ON OUR LOAN

Our loan covenant requires us to hit certain financial goals each year in order to avoid defaulting on our loan. That could require us to refinance our loan at a higher interest. Given the low interest rate of our current loan, that could cost an additional $600,000 over the next two years. These are resources that could be used for other important ministry initiatives. By finishing strong, we will fulfill our loan covenant and maintain our current interest rate.

WE CAN REPLENISH THE STOREHOUSE

Just like Joseph in the Old Testament, maintaining a healthy supply of reserves allows us to have resources available to respond to times when there is a downturn in finances. By meeting our budget and ending the year in the black, we are able to replenish the storehouse of resources that were expended during the year.

WE CAN CREATE MOMENTUM FOR THE VISION GOD IS CALLING US TO IN 2025

Every year, our year-end giving creates momentum for the vision God has given us for the next year. We are excited about 2025 and the opportunities we have for kingdom impact:

IT MATTERS BECAUSE THE KINGDOM MATTERS, AND YOU MATTER.
