Camp Grow is an amazing, four-day camp where kids ages K-7 have fun, develop meaningful friendships, worship together, and learn about God’s word!
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT CAMP GROW
Who can attend camp?
Camp Grow is open to kids who will be entering kindergarten – 7th grade in the fall of 2024. Registration for campers is now open!
If your child is currently in 7th – 12th grade, this is their local mission trip for the summer! Register to serve at Camp Grow and then participate in work projects in the afternoon.
What does a day at camp look like?
Camper Schedule:
9:00 am – 9:15 am – Camper Drop Off
9:15 am – 12:30 pm – Large group worship and small group activities, includes a snack time
12:30 pm – Camper Pick Up
Camp Counselor Schedule:
Morning – Camp Grow Activities & Support
Afternoon – Lunch followed by service projects around church/the Fairfax County area
Evening – Dinner, worship and programming
What should my child bring to camp?
All campers and volunteers should come to camp with the following:
- A labeled bottle of water
- Secure, closed-toe shoes (avoid sandals, flip flops, and slippers)
Please do not bring the following:
- Food (except for health reasons)
- Toys or stuffed animals
- Any water toys, incuding water balloons, guns, etc.
- Any wheeled toys, including skateboards, bikes, roller skates/blades, etc.
- Cell phones, handheld gaming devices, and other electronics
- Anything that resembles a weapon
What are Camp Grow's refund and scholarship policies?
Refund Policy
We know that plans can change and you may have to cancel. If that happens, please email us as soon as possible at campgrow@fairfax.cc.
- If you cancel on or before April 20, 2024, you will receive a refund of $56.40. There is a 6% nonrefundable service fee.
- If you cancel on or before May 10, 2024, you will receive a refund of $30.00.
- If you cancel after May 10, 2023, you will not receive a refund.
Scholarships
We do not want the cost to attend Camp Grow to be a deterrent, and have some scholarships available for families. If you think you would benefit from a scholarship, DO NOT register until you have contacted us to learn more about camp scholarships.
