Book of Galatians

Day 36

READ Galatians 6:6-10
Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

COMMENTARY:
In these verses, Paul encourages believers to share all good things with those who teach them and not to grow weary in doing good, for in due season they will reap if they do not give up. He emphasizes the importance of sowing to please the Spirit, for the one who sows to please the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Questions to ponder:

  • Consider the importance of not growing weary in doing good. How can you persevere in serving others and honoring God in your actions?
  • Reflect on the principle of sowing and reaping. How does this truth encourage you to invest your time, talents, and resources for God’s kingdom?
