We had another incredible weekend worshipping together! There was even greater engagement this week than last week across all of our platforms. Our tribe is growing! Also, in addition to our Fairfax Church community, we had over 700 individuals from our Church of God family who joined us for worship! What an honor to be able to provide spiritual nourishment to the broader church. This weekend we will continue our Red Letters series with a deep dive into Luke 20:9-19. All three of our weekend services will once again be online-only. To watch the livestream on our website, just click here. To watch the service on our Facebook page, go to Facebook.com/Fairfaxcc. You can invite your friends by sending them either one of those links!
Our Fairfax at Home page is up and running! It has resources and information for kids, students and adults to help you grow spiritually and stay connected during this online-only season. Check it out here!
The response to our Curbside Collection has been so encouraging that we are extending the timeframe thru this Friday, March 27. The trailer is located in our parking lot and is open every day from 8:00am to 5:00pm. We are replenishing our Love Your Neighbor pantry along with the pantries of some of our local partners who work with the most vulnerable in our county. Food insecurity is a huge issue, especially at this time. You can see a list of items we need by texting curbside to 94090.
We know that Virginia schools closing for the rest of the school year has huge implications for many of you. Our Fairfax Kids and Student Ministries are looking at how we might best address some of the important milestones and graduations that will be missed during this time. We are praying for all of our parents as you navigate this new reality and guide your kids spiritually and educationally.
One more thing. Starting tomorrow, I will be live-streaming on Instagram at 11:02am every weekday as we pray together as a congregation. If you would like to join me, just follow us on Instagram at @fairfaxcc and you will get a notice when we go live.
Hope to see you tomorrow!
